Subject : The just position of CPD-RDTL about demobilization and the new
attributes to the fighters and the veteran for liberation
The CPD-RDTL repeats once more its just position, all the more about the government’s program by ministry of solidarity and social to make demobilization and sewed new uniform for the fighters and the veterans for liberation, like the following :
1- The CPD-RDTL disagrees and refuses the word demobilization because the former guerrillas warfare ever transformed themselves to fighters and veterans and their sacred mission about total liberation was not reached yet, for example :
a)- The Combatants and the Veterans had performed the liberation for the country through the war for total independence by proclamation of the RDTL on November 28,1975 till Restoration of the RDTL on May 20,2002.
b)- After the Restoration must keep the RDTL’s consolidation so that did not fall by any reaction as the temptation on 2006 and they had to continue the sacred mission for the liberation of the people, according to the Front’s philosophic principles of country and people liberation.
　
　
2- The CPD-RDTL disagrees because demobilization that the strangers together some of Timorese realized in Aileu on February 1,2001 as a great mistake which as source of disaster to state and Maubere people, for example :
a)- After put out with form of injustice the FALINTIL institution was substituted with word FDTL then laid aside its major members with fabricated arguments on 2006, suddenly the unconscious young who were they recruited made military institution wobble when made desertion with large number; and, at last, reinforced with polices which the strangers themselves formed, made RDTL’s state wobbly and the Maubere people suffered of rebellion and crisis at 2006.
b)- The battle ability of military institution that had reduced or very small became risk or danger which rose their conscience that must need again the comrades that they put out (laid aside) from Aileu with former guerilla fighters as reserve force to unite in fighting the rebellion, in order to save RDTL’s state and Maubere people.
c)- Then also the name FALINTIL that they dissolved, the CPD-RDTL lifted soon on February 2, 2001 and united its members that put out from Aileu as fighters and veterans to defend together this sacred name in the Restoration process till get legalization in National Parliament. But this FALINTIL Restoration must through the struggle that appeared disaster, suffering to the CPD-RDTL with its members and many fighters entered into the prison, other got wound, bone fracture and died.
d)- These several evidences shown that this demobilization was incorrect and wrong because became the source of disturbance, disaster, human suffering and material loss. That is why must change or put out so that do not reappear new disaster to the RDTL’s state and Maubere people and the liberation process in the future. The CPD-RDTL really admired why the veterans in army-corps knew the bitter reality but other after gotten the high rank/position support this injustice demobilization.
e)- According to the truth, this demobilization must apply to the political organizations with its members that formerly defended federation and integration because they had lost the war; and also to those were from resistance that surrendered with many guns to the enemy, sold the patriots to the death, collaborated with enemy to reduce the capacity of resistance and to lose the objective of struggle, counting with those who took part rebellion on 2006. But not to apply to the patriotic institutions with its members, who won the war and continue performing their missions for liberation.
3)- The CPD-RDTL disagrees with demobilization but agrees the term transformation or change and reformation because the one considers as just principle and coherent with the process of liberation. For example :
a)- The armed front and armed struggle transform or change it-self to the political front and passive struggle.
b)- The fighters who struggle formerly as guerrilla-warfare transformed or changed themselves in fighters and veterans to continue their mission about liberation.
c)- The FALINTIL institution which as guerilla army-corps transformed or replace to its previous place as regular army-corps according to the article 3 of RDTL’s constitution 1975 and FALINTIL as Historical institution from now on must maintain always its mission because the liberation of the country must complete with people liberation.
d)- The Veterans who had advanced age could reform but the other must active always with proper attributes. Therefore we ask to the government, it’s good to execute its program about valorization and honor to the fighters and the veterans based on the transformation, change and reformation coherent with the principles of the liberation struggle and put out the word demobilization.
4- The Veterans place in RDTL’s State
The CPD-RDTL gives good idea that the veterans should place on the strategic place that is why disagree with the fighters and veterans which to be the tutored organ and placed under an institution like ministry of solidarity and social because this can carry them as instrument to those who assure the power. And also the veterans are not the state patrimony commented by some people by news in 5 of August 2011 that mixed as things that people can auction. But CPD-RDTL maintained its just position that, the fighters and veterans as the real Constructors and Restorers that is why must stand horizontally with state as autonomous or independent with their own attributes to oversee/look after to the functioning of the state power and to assure correctly the general interest of the state, people and nation.
5)- About the new attributes, once more, the CPD-RDTL always disagree with the new attributes like new uniform (dusty-dark) and bivouac more and more to the military fighters and veterans because this really strange to the fighters which did not finished yet their mission.
The CPD-RDTL wants to give good idea that the military fighters and veterans must always stand as special force for rear-guard with special camouflage uniform with red beret that was lend formerly by the Major General state of FALINTIL with Red Brigade-Guerilla Army-Corps in the struggle for liberation. Do not stop their mission, separate or make disappear their attributes and symbols with strange models, invented ones or from other countries to make confusion.
These fighters and veterans as special forces in reserve only appear with their uniforms at last instance, when surge any coup d’état or any army attack against RDTL’s state from interior or exterior. In normal situation also they can appear with uniforms only in national ceremonies and commemorations.
